Welcome to frankbosco.com
launched in 2004… and finally refreshed 20 years later

work-related
“Are you employed, sir?”
I’m a meta-scientist and associate professor of management and entrepreneurship at Virginia Commonwealth University.
My CV
Research
At the moment, most of my research involves the use of AI tools to automate the extraction and ontological classification of scientific research findings. (Luckily, I also happen to manage the largest collection of hand-curated findings in the social sciences) (see –>).
A little pet project of mine
I serve as director of the metaBUS project, which maintains the largest collection of hand-curated scientific findings in the social sciences (over one million of them). Feel free to visit, sign up for a free account, and run some instant meta-analyses using our Shiny platform.
Data files
For the nostalgic, you may still download the data files that were the predecessor to metaBUS. (They’re still online here because our 2015 paper in Journal of Applied Psychology directed readers to “frankbosco.com/data.” (Were were hip to the whole data sharing thing before most.)
hobby: vegetable gardening
